Within one month of the release of the official music video for “Where the Good Times Roll” it has gained over 36,000 views on YouTube. Combining the musical styles of the Eagles, Zac Brown Brand, Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers, Me and Mae are taking the Canadian music scene by storm. With no barriers to their unique sound the single is enjoyable by many who enjoy the various stylings of country. The song was co-written by Shawn Meehan and Ben Parker. The two were inspired by their feelings evoked by their drive throughout the streets of California.
“We wanted to write a song that made people feel happy, setting the scene of a summer weekend getaway by creating the visual of a tailgate party by a bonfire,” said Shawn Meehan, guitarist and vocalist. “We want our fans to have that feel good feeling when listening to the new single. A catchy tune to let listeners sit back and let the good times roll wherever they may be.”
For all the radio listener’s the single will hit Canadian airways on May 21. Catch Me and Mae on their upcoming Spring radio tour beginning on the West Coast May 28.
